Overview
NDAX (National Digital Asset Exchange) is one of Canada’s cryptocurrency platforms offering trading, deposits, and withdrawals in CAD. This page explains how to sign in safely, common sign-in problems and how to recover access if you’re locked out.
How to sign in (desktop & mobile)
- Open the NDAX website or launch the NDAX mobile app.
- Click or tap Sign In. Enter your registered email address and password.
- If you have Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) enabled, enter the code from your authenticator app or SMS when prompted.
- Once authenticated, you’ll land on your dashboard with balances, markets and transfer options.
Troubleshooting common login issues
- Wrong password: Use the “Forgot password” flow to reset your password. Check spam for reset emails.
- Account locked: Multiple failed attempts may temporarily lock you. Wait a short cooling-off period or follow the account recovery process.
- 2FA not working: Ensure your phone time is set to automatic (time sync). If using a new device, restore your authenticator or use backup codes.
- Browser problems: Clear cache/cookies, disable extensions or try an incognito/private window. Alternatively, try the official mobile app.
- Unable to receive emails: Check spam, add NDAX to your safe sender list, and confirm your email address is correct in your profile.
Setting up and recovering Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)
2FA adds a vital second layer of security. NDAX supports authenticator apps for time-based one-time passwords (TOTP).
- Go to Security > Two-Factor Authentication in your NDAX account.
- Scan the QR code with your authenticator app and save the 6-digit code.
- Store your account recovery/backup codes in a safe place (offline preferred).
If you lose access to your 2FA device: Use backup codes if available. If not, prepare to verify your identity with NDAX support (Government ID and verification steps may be required).
Account recovery & support
If you cannot sign in after trying the above, follow NDAX’s account recovery process: request a password reset, provide requested identity documents, and follow instructions from support. Always use the official NDAX channels — beware of phishing emails asking for credentials.
When contacting support, include non-sensitive details (account email, description of issue, timestamps). Do not share passwords or full 2FA codes in messages.
Security checklist (quick)
- Use a unique, strong password and a password manager.
- Enable 2FA with an authenticator app.
- Keep software and OS up to date.
- Verify emails and avoid clicking unknown links.
